Anyway, I rather enjoy this lack of boxes and labels, though in a world of infinite data they certainly are useful.
For example, I could say I grew up in a Houston suburb, attended Pepperdine for two years, graduated from USC with a degree in film production, live and work in New York City, have an aversion to shoes, a strange passion for peppercorn ranch dressing, and a lack of knowledge in the area of music before the 00's (though I'm doing my best to catch up!)
I'm not saying if that stuff is true or not, because, you know, you're already limiting who I am AS WE SPEAK.
